Look at the scope before the total

Begin with the affected-parts list. Check which parts are marked for repair or replacement and read the notes attached to them. A report covering a bumper alone is not comparable to one covering a bumper, a light and adjacent panels. Keep the original photos alongside the breakdown so you can review what the analysis was based on.

Read the categories together

The app separates bodywork, paint, mechanical work, replacement parts and diagnostics. Open the detailed report to inspect the underlying items. Read both the item descriptions and the amounts; the category label alone does not tell you exactly which tasks the AI included. These figures are estimated from the information supplied, not prices confirmed by a repair shop.

Keep the range and currency in view

CarDamage can display a minimum and maximum repair estimate instead of just one amount. Read the currency shown in the report: the current app expresses costs in USD while taking the supplied country into account. Do not assume a Turkish-language report is a Turkish-lira quote. Check location and vehicle inputs when reviewing the output.

Use the PDF to prepare better questions

Export the report and ask a repair professional which listed tasks match their inspection, which need revision and what else they would include. The most useful comparison is whether the reports describe the same work. Treat differences as questions to resolve, rather than proof that a quote is incorrect. The app provides an initial planning aid; the final repair scope needs professional assessment.
